Documentary still-life — a wood desk with a topographic survey map of a Colorado mountain valley weighted by a coffee mug and a clipboard, a weathered fleece on a chair back, a brimmed hat on the seat, a brass compass beside the map; through the window a soft glimpse of a snow-dusted ridge. Late afternoon golden light. No people.DRAFT

Eagle Valley Behavioral Health, a founding Alliance member, has launched a pilot crisis-response coordination model tailored to the specific challenges of mountain communities — high seasonal population swings, long EMS travel times, and limited backup behavioral-health capacity.

The Alliance is supporting the pilot’s data and policy framing. Early findings will inform statewide policy positions on rural and underserved systems.
